Occupational Hearing Loss


October is National Protect Your Hearing Month. Exposure to loud noise or certain chemicals at work can damage hearing. Occupational hearing loss is one of the most common work-related illnesses and is permanent.


At CUST-O-FAB, preventing hearing loss in the field or our fabrication shops is a priority. We have established a hearing conservation program to avoid occupational hearing loss, preserve remaining hearing, and provide workers with hearing protection to safeguard themselves. CUST-O-FAB’s hearing conservation program includes annual hearing exams, hearing protection devices, and safety training.
